What it does
Vidmoat scans the waveform, finds every silent stretch and cuts it out with the gaps closed, what editors call a ripple delete, for the whole clip at once. A rambling take tightens into its watchable core in seconds.
You control the threshold and the minimum gap, so breathing room stays natural: trim only the long holes, or go for full jump-cut energy. It runs in the editor and costs no credits.
How to use it
- Add your talking-head or voiceover clip to the timeline.
- In the inspector’s A/V tab, press Scan for silence. Sensitivity is adjustable.
- Review the detected gaps, press Trim all silence, and the timeline closes up.
