What it does
A flat music bed over dialogue is the fastest way to sound amateur. Auto duck finds where speech happens and writes volume keyframes onto the music so it dips smoothly under every line and comes back in the gaps.
It is one button, and the keyframes it writes are yours to adjust after.
How to use it
- Put speech and music on the timeline together.
- Select the music clip and press Duck under speech in the A/V tab.
- Volume keyframes appear on the music. Fine-tune them or export.

Can I change how much the music dips?
Yes. Ducking writes ordinary volume keyframes, so you can move or reshape any of them.
